As an agricultural country, attention to the welfare of farmers in Indonesia is considered very strategic. One of the measuring tools for farmersā€™ welfare that is used today is Farmerā€™s Exchange Rate (FER). This study aims to examine and explore some of the problems with the exchange rate experienced by farmers, including; Farmerā€™s Exchange Rate (FER) in identifying the welfare of farmers, determining the increase and decrease of Farmer Exchange Rate (FER) in Indonesia; and the potential of Islamic financing in providing solutions for the welfare of farmers. The results show that the increase in FER is not always good. Determination of the increase and decrease rice farmersā€™ exchange rates are productivity, grain prices, prices of consumer goods, and prices of fertilizers, the exchange rate of farmers on food and nonfood consumption, and production costs. Shariah schemes can be used as a new alternative to help the interest-free and profit-sharing agricultural sector.

Abstract: This article aims to explore the potential development of a Blended learning model in Indonesian higher education institutions. The paper attempts to explain the concept of the Blended learning in terms of theory and practice, based on the literature discussed in several reputable international journals. Initially, this method proposes to improve the deficiencies of a traditional learning model which is lack of technological resources and at the same time to improve the gap of e-learning practice which is lack of a face-to-face learning experience. In the blended instruction, students will learn through a face-to-face interaction in the classroom and supported by learning media such as a Website, Video or Learning Management System (LMS). Meanwhile, the use of technologies is ordinarily used for studentsā€™ learning and peers interaction outside of class, especially for online discussion and homework submission. This method emphasizes that learning activity should not only occur in the classroom but also outside of the class through online media.Key Words: blended learning, hybrid learning, learning management systems, e-learning, conventional learningAbstrak: Tuliskan Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggali potensi pengembangan metode pembelajaran Blended learning pada perguruan tinggi Indonesia. Get PDF
The temporary closure of schools around the world to limit the spread of the COVID-19 has induced a new challenge for parents. Particularly, for those working remotely, making sure the children follow the learning schedule given by the school and keeping them occupied at home until bedtime is no obvious duty to make efforts to boost their enthusiasm. Therefore, one strategy proposed to motivate children's learning at home is to gamify their learning activities. Numerous studies have been published on the use of various digital platforms in gamification research, however, gamified systems in a non-technology environment or non-digital platform have been inadequately discussed and investigated by scholars. Thus, in this study, we will present a concise discussion on how gamified activities can be utilized in a non-tech environment. This conceptual paper employing a systematic literature review in collecting and analyzing the data. Through a review of the current empirical and conceptual literature, this study presents a new conceptual framework of the gamification concept in a non-technology environment. The study recommends that applying game-based elements or mechanics to motivate and engage children's learning can be carried out anywhere and anytime for any grade level, without waiting for high-tech supports

The hospital as a health service facility has a very strategic role in an effort to accelerate the improvement of the health status of the Indonesian citizens - both public and private hospitals. This is because hospitals have the capacity of affording quality health services that are affordable to the poor community. Based on the research results, it shows that the health services provided by the Bunda Lhokseumawe Hospital have been carried out optimally according to the applicable procedures. Patient satisfaction with the health services. There are those who give satisfying responses to a friendly doctor's attitude and there are also the patient's responses that are not satisfactory. The lack of ability of IT operators to computer applications is a very fatal obstacle in online administration services. To overcome this predicament, intensive socialization and training are required for the IT operators so that they will be able to overcome various obstacles in the event of technical errors during data entry. Another obstacle to health services carried out by the Bunda Lhokseumawe Hospital for patients is the lack of specialist doctors. To overwhelm this matter, the management must recruit more specialist doctors to the hospital

The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of implementing a Learning Management System (LMS) ā€˜TES BlendSpaceā€™ to promote studentsā€™ self-directed learning in EFL flipped-class instruction. For the data collection procedure, an individual interview with ten undergraduate students from an Indonesian college was conducted to demonstrate the potential impacts of the LMS in studentsā€™ self-directed learning abilities. The observation of studentsā€™ learning activities on the TES BlendSpace was also recorded to support the interview data. The LMS was adopted to distribute and receive information. Thus, the students were able to monitor learning activities, learn the contents before coming to class, evaluate the learning process, and interact with others outside of class hours. The finding of this study suggests that the LMS TES BlendSpace is recommended to be performed in teaching EFL for higher education in Indonesia. It offers studentsā€™ occasion to practice and enhances their listening, writing, reading and vocabulary skills in and out-of-class times. It also prepares students to get ready for classroom activities in terms of conversations and speaking skills. The further use of the LMSs should become often-visited sites by students for learning activities and replacing other non-educational favorite websites. The finding of this study indicates that the studentsā€™ online culture was predominantly formed by the interesting contents posting on the LMS, especially the video lectures and an easy way to use. Additionally, instructors should develop activities in and around the LMS with a number of benefits and rewards. Hence, the students will be motivated to log in the LMS for learning purposes

This review study aims to understand the current phenomena and major future global economic challenges and their impact on Indonesia. We also propose a solution to the issue. This conceptual article aims to explain and clarify complex ideas and provide insights into a phenomenon's underlying structure or nature. This study recommends Indonesia should consider several suggestions to prepare for global economic challenges. The government may focus on infrastructure. Infrastructure improvements will boost Indonesia's economy, create jobs, and attract investment. Strong infrastructure improves goods and people movement, transaction costs, and economic efficiency. Infrastructure spending increases competitiveness, job creation, and private investment. Indonesia can become more competitive by eliminating bureaucracy and corruption, improving investment conditions, and encouraging innovation. Competitive economies make better, cheaper, and more efficient products. This can boost investment, jobs, and living standards. Furthermore, exports open new markets, boost demand for manufactured goods, and generate foreign currency. Developing Indonesia's human capital is also crucial. Besides, gender equality requires removing workplace barriers for women. This boosts the labor force and economic growth. Human capital development boosts long-term economic growth and competitiveness. Government should address income inequality. Progressive taxation, social safety nets, and job creation reduce income disparity and increase consumer spending. This review study aims to understand the current phenomena and major future economic challenges of global economics and their impact on Indonesia.
